Frank Darabont is the one of my favorite director. he is an American film director, screenwriter and producer. His first movie I watched is The Shawshank Redemption. Shawshank Redemption (1982) is a novella by Stephen King, originally published in Different Seasons. And this movie brought a lot award to Frank Darabont as well.
Up to now, he has directed four movies, most of them based on stories by Stephen King. Meanwhile, The Green Mile and The Mist both of them are very successful film. I think Frank Darabont is good at thrilling film. In the Shawshank Redemption he got special angle to express the whole story. Darabont was born in a refugee camp in 1959 in Montbéliard, Doubs, France. His parents fled Hungary after the 1956 Hungarian Revolution. When he was still an infant, his family moved to the United States, settling in Los Angeles, California. Maybe, his family's background makes him have special angles different with other.
