My sister's keeper

My sister‘s keeper happened In Los Angeles, the eleven year old Anna brought into the world by in vitro fertilization helped her older sister Kate had had leukemia. The film is interlaced with the relationship between Kate and Anna, as well as how Kate’s illness affected her siblings’ lives.

Kate’s mother is a person who has never thought to give up Kate, but as the time went on, Kate’s situation is more and more serious so that Kate wanted to give up herself at the end. It seems to me, mother becoming more and more stubborn could not accept the truth without Kate and she has never stood Kate’s position and considered Kate’s feeling. Persisting has become a habit for her, and mother has forgotten letting her go is also another kind of love.

The Lovely Bones

Last week I saw this movie. And I thought the movie was stupendous. There may have been some things that didn’t catch the eye of the viewers that have watched the movie but every detail doesn’t need to be precise. It was an amazing experience for some of the movie watchers and I would give anything to watch that movie over and over again.

UP

I was interesting in it at the first time when I hear this film's name.
And after I saw this film. I think "UP" is one of the best 3d animations in the world.
It is not only for children, but also for everybody. Because it show us some things which we can learn from it.Like catch your dream.Never give up.
And during watching the film, it also showing the love between husband and wife. That is really touch and it remind me something (ToT)
So if you have not seen it yet. Just have a see!
You would not want to miss this great film.

The Hurt Locker

I watched "The Hurt Locker" a few days ago, which just won 6 Oscars (including Best Motion Picture of the Year and Best Achievement in Directing). The story is about a bomb disposal team operating in Iraq.

It is a independent film, that means they don't have a lot of money to spent for the massive visual effect. They used a very different way to demonstrate the war. I like the bomb disposal scenes, they are amazing and full of tension.

The story is not quite attractive but very vivid and cruel. The script is written by a journalist who has spent many years in the real battlefield of Iraq, this is why the film is different, I can see many details of the scenes and dialogues are impossible to create if the writer has never been there.

Overall, I couldn't say it's the best movie of the year for me, but I will still remember it, because it is unique and quite meaningful. It's hard to imagine this kind of movie is directed by Kathryn Bigelow --a female director, and it is even harder to imagine she is James Cameron's ex-wife, she took all the oscars from her ex's "Avatar", how ironic.

Fantastic Mr. Fox

"Fantastic Mr. Fox" is definitely a rare great movie last year. When I started watching it, I thought it is just a animation for children, but then, I found it maybe more suitable for adults.

It is a stop motion animation, you might feel bad the first few minutes, because the screen is not very smooth, but it will soon capture your attention by its own attractiveness. The structure of the movie is quite clear. Just like the original, the story is divided into several sections, and it has very special brand of humor.

This movie tersely portrays the characters' personalities. At first I don't like Mr.Fox, who is the lead of the story, for his blindly adventure. But lately, this character just convinced me and touched me by a simple dialogue: Because I am a wild animal.

The emergence of the wolf is a highlight of the entire movie. Mr.Fox called the wolf over a long distance, in that moment, you would find, there is a wild animal live in everyone's heart.
